Born and raised on Chicago’s Southside, the simple things in life like preparing gourmet meals, walking along the beach, late night driving, and visiting art exhibits and museums are just a miniscule part of what makes Kandace Bowens flourish.

She is a woman of purpose. Her passion comes in the form of writing. She’s written and directed various plays for several universities and organizations that force humanity to think outside the box and focus on under-discussed real life issues with a twist. She is the owner of three unique businesses, a restaurant and catering company, spa & retail store, and a public relations and event planning business- IKandi Consulting & Event Planning. Here, she networks and endorses professional athletes through positive community outreach programs and events.

She is a proud graduate of Penn State University, where she holds a degree in English and focus in Sociology. She will continue her education in a dual Master’s and PhD program in psychology next spring in order to gain a more defined understanding of the psyche and the emotional and physical impacts it has on human progression/regression and the body as a whole.

Attaining positions such as Investment Banker, CEO, Entrepreneur, Profiler, Kandace offers creative thinking and novel approaches when reaching out to the masses. Through her experiences, Kandace knows how to share information with empathy, effectiveness, and positivity.

Kandace holds a series 6/ 63 license, life & health insurance license, and is a member of the Sigma Tau Delta International English Honor Society.
