Rachel J Durand

Rachel Jean Durand loves to write. She spends hours each day working on her various novels and stories. When she is not writing she is reading.

Throughout the years Rachel changed her mind about her future occupation many times. She wanted to be a chef, an events coordinator, and even considered interior designing, but now all of those interests and more have developed into hobbies. She has decided that she wants to be an author.

In the sixth grade she adapted and directed William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. In that same year she participated in a local pageant, and won the title of Jr. Miss Congeniality. Because she is now in high school, most of her extracurricular activities take place during the summer. She is involved in a writing class at a nearby senior center, and enjoys the sport of archery.
She wants to go to college and major in English or Literature. She has not decided on a school yet, but is looking into different universities around the country and the globe.

Rachel sees herself as an imaginative person, and hopes that her ideas combined with her creative writing will one day develop into her dream career.
