6574_203334625161_805975161_7695392_2452600_nSuccessfully combining her strong people skills with a keen interest in personal development, Emma Hackforth, Co-Publisher and Editor of Women’s Online Magazine™ United Kingdom (WOM UK), has over 20 years of solid sales, management and recruitment experience.

Starting her working life with Häagen Dazs in the FMCG market, her varied career has seen her lead sales teams within a number of different market sectors from classified advertising to the international banking community, before she was headhunted in (1999) to join Network Associates.

Brought in to manage Computacenter on a European level, within three months she had helped NAI win Gold Vendor Status competing against such global enterprises as Symantec and Trend.

It was only in 2000 when Emma joined Ashley Coutts as a head hunter that she really found her true passion in business – helping people communicate with their marketplace more effectively. To this end, together with her husband Tom she established Matchsticks, offering talent management services to IT software organizations, and The CV Clinic, a professional CV writing service.

Outrageously honest and always willing to speak her mind, the concept of blogging seemed to be made specifically with Emma in mind and for the last five years has provided her with a compelling vehicle to communicate with her network of contacts. So when the opportunity arose to take this concept forward into Women’s Online Magazine™, she grabbed it with both hands.

For Emma, Women’s Online Magazine™ is the first choice for women across the globe, giving them access to articles and information that inspire, question and communicate on topics that range from business and money to well-being and real life stories about how incredible people have turned their lives around against all the odds.

Powered by helloWorld, it provides a means of not only allowing subscribers to read the stories, but also allows them to watch and listen to them too. A devoted ‘foodie’, Emma’s passions extend to fine wine and healthy eating. Her latest enterprise, ‘Cooking with Emma’, aims to allow everyone with intolerances or allergies or those who simply love great food, to be able to enjoy the recipes from the country’s favourite chefs by using healthy, fresh and seasonal ingredients to deliver delicious meals in minutes without the worry. “Cooking with Emma” will appear on Women’s Online Magazine™ United Kingdom under the category “Chefs Table” amongst other keen foodies and wine buffs.
