Upload Video

Women’s Online Magazine™ United Kingdom (WOM UK) is powered by helloWorld and to upload video for streaming in Women’s Online Magazine™ United Kingdom, you’ll need to have a helloWorld account set up first, now available from £6.99 per month (no contracts).

Your videos must be uploaded in your helloWorld media vault first so that the system can generate the HTML code for the video for you. You need the HTML code for your video submission process in this page.

To join helloWorld, click on the Join helloWorld tab on the menu bar (click on ‘Buy Now’ button on the page), and follow the instructions to set up a helloWorld account.

Here’s how it works:

1. After you’ve got your helloWorld account set up,

• Go to www.helloworld.com
• Click on the Login tab on the page
• Enter your username and password
• Then, you will be logged into your helloWorld studio account

2. Importing your video

• Hover your mouse over the Media icon, click it
• Select the option ‘import content’, choose ‘upload video’
• Create a target folder (on right) to save the video you are uploading
• To upload a video click browse and find the video on your hard drive
• Add a title (on left)
• On the right, choose formats for encoding the video (check the boxes for quick time, flash and windows media player)
• Select your folder in which to save the video (top right)
• Click upload to start uploading video to the media vault
• Video will upload to your helloWorld account.

3. Generate HTML code for your video for posting on other websites incl. Women’s Online Magazine™ websites

• Hover mouse over the media vault and choose option ‘manage my media’
• Locate your video, click on the video. Five options will show below the video.
• Go to the option which says ‘publish media on your website’
• Where it says ‘select the delivery media format’, choose the option that says ‘let the system select the format automatically’
• Under ‘select the delivery model’ choose option ‘play media in a pop-up window’
• On the right, the code will be generated from the selection chosen
• Highlight the code, right click and select copy. This is the code you need to paste in the form below (or into any website that accepts cutting and pasting of HTML code)

4. Upload Video in Women’s Online Magazine™ United Kingdom
